i just finished this in maya today and i was wondering what everybody's opinion is :3 ! i will have a couple more pics of it up in different angles but this one is probably the best lol.

I really like the design of the object. Its quite realistic. the materials are excellent. and i like how you have framed the scene

the thing i would change is the lighting, 1) add some fill, both the right side of the controller and the right side of the far plug are loosing detail cause they don't have enough light. 2) i think this scene would really benefit from an ambient occlusion pass to cement the controller onto the table

sorry for replying so late but i traveled back home to see family. thank you for all the advice, i won't be able to implement it on this because i don't believe i have the file for this anymore but it will help me on the next project i'm about to start next month for one of my graduate courses! :)

Like how you put a blur on the cord which is farther away from the camera. My only suggestion would be to tweak the material settings, the red button could use a sharper reflection to look more like plastic. :3
