This is the final animation project for my motion graphics class this summer. Unlike what the assignment said to do, which was just to make a 30 second video showing what i learned this semester, I decided to create a little story animatic. I hope everyone likes it!!!!

just in case the premise doesn't make sense, the idea i had was mario was just about to defeat bowser and rescue princess peach, but instead of giving mario the satisfaction of victory, he kills the princess before he's defeated. this video shows the aftermath, where the princess comes back to him and helps mario cope and reminds him of her love for him. and besides, they'll see each other in heaven

This is the first critique I do, so I hope it's fair...
I really liked this one... Agreeing with xXsamluvsgreendayXx, the music was fantastic. Also, the opening and closing of their eyes wasn't very realistic; I didn't like very much the way they're drawn, but I loved how they're cartoons inside a real room. And the begining, with the rain and the storm was quite well done.
If you want my advice, when putting the texts, I'd do a fade to black, and I'd like it more if Peach's movements were more... gentle, I think that's the word.

It was very sad... But I liked it and it made me feel something.

I ran into your Mario Flash by accident, but I was curious so I decided to take a peak. I saw everything from start to finish and be prepared, I will talk about positive and negative points.

The beginning with the rain and the drops looked really nice and the cloud effects looked alright. The art itself, such as Mario and Peach, looked okay as well.. my favorite being the headstones. I enjoyed seeing the lighting effects when Peach came back to Mario.

Some animation was a little stiff in the sense that some of it wasn't flowing or in the mood of the flash, it's hard to explain what I mean. Like when Mario opens and closes his eyes or leans up.

I adored the music by the way.

Overall, this isn't bad at all. It made me shed a little tear myself, heheh. I say, good work on this and hopefully you'll make more animations.
